Haverhill High School Students to Benefit from $207,500 State Grant for Technology and Equipment Upgrades
Haverhill, MA — November 12, 2025 — Exciting news for Haverhill High School! The school’s Career Technical Education (CTE) Department has received a $207,500 Skills Capital Technology and Equipment Grant from the Executive Office of Education, funding major upgrades that will give students access to the latest technology in their fields.
The grant will support the school’s Chapter 74 Information Technology and Computer Science & Web Development programs, which serve 125 students each year. With this funding, Haverhill High School will upgrade two computer labs, add new Cisco networking and robotics tools, and provide modern technology workstations designed to give students hands-on experience with the same equipment used in today’s tech industry.
“This grant means more opportunities for our students to learn, explore, and create with real-world tools,” said Victoria Kelley, Supervisor of Career Technical Education K-12. “We’re proud that our CTE programs are helping students build valuable skills that will open doors to college and career success.”
The Skills Capital Grant Program helps schools across Massachusetts invest in updated technology and equipment that prepare students for high-demand careers, particularly in fast-growing industries like information technology, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing.
